UNSW tops the medal tally at Australian University Snowsports
After an outstanding week of competition at Thredbo, the UNSW Snowsports team topped the medal tally at the Australian University Snowsports Championships. UNSW won a total of eight gold medals and 12 medals overall, with next best being Sydney Uni on 5 gold medals and 16 medals overall.
The outstanding individual performance of the week came from UNSW Lexcen Scholar, Scott Kneller who won 5 gold and 2 silver medals and was the overall Male Alpine and Male Freestyle champion. Scott now turns his focus to qualifying for selection in the Vancouver Winter Olympics in Skier Cross. He is currently the highest ranked Australian in Skier Cross at 45 in the world.
